Working alongside Spun Glass Theatre has transformed our outlook and our ability to pull off ambitious projects. Jessica is able to fully understand our artistic aims and seek out partnerships which complement the way we want to work. It's been fantastic to find a partnership that is so mutually beneficial, and it's been brilliant to have Spun Glass Theatre by our side every step of the way.
We began working with Living Record Productions in 2017 and helped secure their first Arts Council funding for a research and development project into using binaural sound technology in live theatre and community workshop settings.
We developed partnerships with The Place Bedford, Age UK, Bedford Prison and The Afro Caribbean Retired Nurses Society
Thrown was written by the award winning playwright Jodi Gray. We supported Living Record Productions to take Thrown to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2018 where they won the Brighton Fringe Award for Excellence and received a four star review in The Scotsman.
Thrown toured to ARC Stockton, The Mill Arts Centre, Banbury, Theatre in the Mill, Bradford and Vault Festival in Waterloo.
We continue to partner with Living Record Productions - most recently on their inaugural Living Record Festival which received ACE funding and commissioned artists to make digital work for audiences at home. The reach of LRF 21 was over 650,000.
We curated a series of free arts industry discussion events featuring speakers from HighTide, SlungLow,
and Warwick Arts Centre.
