WEST END WILMA
KIDS CABARET CLUB
Part of Brighton Fringe 2022
Saturday 7th May - Sunday 5th June 2022
We're thrilled to be returning to WRAP Play Cafe to transform it into a theatrical family playground for Brighton's first kid's cabaret club!
Our Kid’s Cabaret Club will be fun and full of laughter, with comedy sing-a-longs - the perfect place for all the family to have fun and get involved.
Our exuberant compere will welcome you into the Wrap Up speakeasy, kick off the party atmosphere and perform comedy songs about current events which are important to children and young people.
We will also invite the best cabaret guests to join us, as well as our resident performers, presenting child-friendly versions of classic cabaret acts - the show will change every week!
Commissioned exclusively for WRAP, Wrap Up! introduces children to cabaret performance skills and puts them at the heart of the experience - perfect for any budding performers.
Suitable for children of all ages with plenty to entertain those aged 18-99 who are still young at heart.
Performances take place every weekend in May and every day in half term.
Times: 11am, 12.15pm, 2pm, 3.15pm and 4.30pm
Tickets: £10 per person (booking fees apply)
FIRST: BABY & PARENT WORKSHOP
Join us for a special one-off workshop at Brighton Open Air Theatre
Wednesday 20th April 2022
Our parent and baby workshops are centred around using our expertise as theatre makers to create opportunities for you and baby to play and explore together – and this session celebrates being out in nature. The beautiful amphitheatre of BOAT will be transformed into a play space for curious babies and their intrepid parents to make music, explore movement, and hear some lovely stories.
Our popular First workshops have inspired over 500 parents and babies to create together since May 2021. “It’s creative, relaxing and full of good ideas to do at home. I honestly feel invigorated after the session and genuinely look forward to them each week.” – parent feedback.
Tickets: £8 (£5 conc, babies go free but tickets must be booked)
