session details
Hosted by professional storyteller Helen Tozer
Nature inspired sensory stories and play – Ideal for children aged 1-3 years-old.
This term we'll be focusing on incredible animals and their senses. How do bees see? Why do birds sing? How can Owls and bats hear their prey?
Each week we'll explore a new sense through an interactive sensory story with puppets, age appropriate science experiments, easy crafts and messy play.
Come learn and play with us!
Suggested donation of £5 per adult or pay what you can afford.
Wherever possible, props, craft materials and scientific experiments will be made from natural materials to reduce waste and encourage connection with the natural world.
The classes will be welcoming and relaxed with a focus on enabling the children to explore the space, topic and materials at their own pace.
Professional storyteller Helen Tozer has previously delivered family workshops for The Natural History Musuem, Imperial College, Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses and many more. She is passionate about empowering children and their carers to embrace their curiosity for the natural world in a supportive and fun space.
