Three brand new short plays uncovering Hastings hidden stories in new theatre series at home venue Stade Hall.

Spun Glass Theatre launches Pizza & Plays – a new theatre night inspired by Hastings' history, created in partnership with Hastings Museum & Art Gallery, bringing together playwrights, Hastings Museum archives, local food and community celebration in one evening.

Supported by Arts Council England, the project challenges three writers to immerse themselves in the stories, folklore and forgotten histories of Hastings before writing an entirely new short play. Rather than responding to a set theme, each writer has complete freedom to discover the stories that inspire them. Once completed, each play is rehearsed in just five days before being performed live.

Each evening then continues with pizza from local favourites Duke Harper Pizza and a post-show party hosted by Remi Vibesman (Hidden Beach), transforming a theatre visit into a social event that reflects the character of Hastings itself.

Grab a ticket to a truly unique and brilliant night out at a local venue. Tickets are Pay What You Can:
£5, £10, £15. Or a £20 ticket will gain you entry to all three in the series. Pizza and drinks will be available to buy throughout the evening.
